4. I wouldn't be holding my breath on our most M$M spaz case = Tweety
He says something insightful and the next day continues to worship everything "neo con."

Tweety's a sell out - similar to Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown - invariable reverts to Neo-Conservative talking points before the following week. Hell, if it's a day where he's TOTALLY manic, he can switch positions within the same show segment. :scared: :puke:

5. I just want to thank you for the acronym "M$M."
I know it's been around a while, but I forget about it. Some of us have been struggling with the problem that this phrase "mainstream media" creates, in seeming to reinforce their delusion that they reflect "mainstream America," or are, somehow, the objective middle, or the common ground. We give them that ground every time we use this phrase. In truth, they are not even close to reflecting mainstream American opinion, which, for instance, has opposed the Iraq war since before the invasion (Feb. '03--56% opposed!). So what do we call these war profiteering corporate news monopolies, if we are not going to call them the "mainstream media"?

Well, that's what I call them. The war profiteering corporate news monopolies. But it's too much for some people to type. My own wrists are suffering because of it.

Anyway, that "$" in the middle of the acronym at least conveys the MOTIVATION behind their crapass, lying, deceitful, propagandistic blather that rarely addresses anything of importance, and, when they do, skews the news or the discussion of the news way to the right of most Americans, and furthermore tries to brainwash the great progressive American majority into thinking that it is the minority. The evil shits. That "$" is the least they deserve.

6. Scarborough Country showed a bunch of Bushisms yesterday, and came as clos
close to critisizing Bush as he is able to do.

Also, Tweety referred to the MSM as bootlicking" the current aministration. So, maybe they are in a mini-revolt.
