5. half-hearted, better than nothing
I still think he should never have made the comment, and would never have said anything so out of bounds about a repuke, even if it were TRUE.

6. Yes it is and it should he should receive recognition for it. Every crazy
left winger blogger I have seen posting about have gone out of their way not to further attack Roberts or just post the link without comment. You think Roberts would get the same treatment if this was a RW issue.

12. Yes. Roberts behaved like a grown-up, unlike a certain White House
occupant I could name, especially on the subject of smearing people.

Yes, George, I mean you, you soulless creep.

8. Lukewarm, but a mild apology nonetheless.
It's startling to hear the word "apology" from ANY irritainment provider, especially a Bush butt-kisser, let alone an actual "I'm sorry".

Incremental but significant.

10. yes, that's an apology
If you want to stay mad, you're going to have to go on to say the apology is not good enough, or that it wasn't sincere, or that it won't undo the damage he's done, etc.

But you can't deny it's an apology.

13. Wait, Seriously? If This Can't Pass As An Apology Then Lord Knows What
does.

I think he did the absolutely honorable and respectful thing and deserves to be commended for it.

Man, some people are just never satisfied.... Sheesh...
