... Qwest deserves my complete thanks.
I'm having 2 of the worst months financially, eating crappy food, doing nothing fun, basically working for rent and bills.
Yesterday I called Qwest, my internet and phone company. I explained the situation to them and got the nicest lady in Phoenix to help me get outta this predicament.
Long story short, I canceled my fancy home phone service, and asked that they reduce the speed of my DSL to 1.5 instead of 3.0. She was most gracious and understanding.
They cut my services, as I asked last night around 7. They told me it would be Thursday before I could have my DSL back, so I planned to clean the house and do the Mt. Everest of laundry for a couple days.
Lo and behold 15 minutes ago my modem came to life. They fixed it in under 24 hours and sent me a nice email saying they were glad to help and would reserve my phone number for 3 months for when I dig myself out of this sinkhole I got myself into.
Rarely does a company exceed your expectations, much less do it with fantastic and understanding customer service.
So I felt the need to send some love to Qwest for helping me. They cut my bill from 92.00 to 36.00! Much more managable.
Oh and they still aren't turnin over those phone records to the government!!
