Newsweek's Evan Thomas sad defense of Bush, after 9/11, on C-span.
Because there was so much wild intellegence rumors coming from every direction. And because the USA was considered weak in the Muslim World for not responding to terrorism in the 90's. Bush and Cheney felt they had to strike back hard, and Iraq was part of get tough policy. Why does that give them a right to lie us into war? No wonder the M$M is so useless!!!

1. I saw that this morning. He made me sick.
When a called asked some serious questions, Thomas said he doesn't believe in conspiracy theories. Apparently, he just believes everything the bush* administration hands out. And what is he, the Managing Editor of Newsweek. No wonder Americans are so ill-informed.

4. He's the grandson of old time socialist Norman Thomas
and I suspect he has spent his entire professional career trying to impress right wingers and show them that he ain't one of them pussy reds like grandpa, who actually was a man with an extremely strong spine unlike Evan.
