Someone, anyone, please tell me where the US is ranked
world-wise (or industrial nation wise, I don't care) in the I.Q. department.

Once upon a time Fortune Magazine tested kids from the top 25 industrialize nations on the planet. They tested our GIFTED kids and their regular fun-of-the-mill students. The only country of the 25 with lower scores than us was Lebanon. (Poor Lebanon.)

Anyway, that was a number of years ago. I am sure as I'm sitting here that it hasn't gotten any better. But I would sure like some numbers to back up my opinion.

1. I don't think Forbes ever did an IQ test
There are a couple type of international "competition" achievement tests - such as the TIMMS and the testing done by PISA. Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but might be some places to start a search.

6. It wasn't an IQ test, it was a test on general knowledte. And this is a
few years ago.
