4. That reminds me of an old story that went something like this:

A man is in NYC in Times Square clapping his hands.

A woman asks him, "Why are you clapping your hands?"

Typical "logic": if two events occur simultaneously, then one event must have caused the other. This is just another handy soundbite meant to distract and to keep the sheeple in check until November.

Why is it that NO one remembers the DC Snipers?

"We haven't been hit since 9/11"; yeah, ask my sister, who lives in Silver Spring MD, the same vicinity and thouroughway where two people were killed in that tragedy, how she liked being a moving target for four weeks straight. Ask all of those Virginia residents how they liked running from Home Depot or SuperFresh to their cars. Ask all of those Montgomery County residents how safe and sound they felt crouching behind their cars while getting gas.

Maybe because I'm just stupid and missing the point, but how was the terrorization of an entire Metropolitan area (which the media masturbated over the entire time like porn theater regulars, because, let's face it, FEAR puts asses in the seats) NOT considered an "act of terror" by Repukes and a strikedown of their vaunted talking point? As I recall, the military did little to find these guys or keep the city safe at least to help out the MC police.

So why does this NOT fall under an "act of terror"? Is it because "only" ten people were killed and three critically injured (never MIND that an entire metro area was paralyzed with fear during that time)?

Or is it merely because the assailants weren't FOREIGN?
