Politically correct varies from sitatuion to situation. I've seen it from all sides and take a perverse pride in tweaking the ideologues of any stripe. Its not sporting since it is so damn easy, but many of them have it coming. I don't deal with with PC knucleheads wherever their position.

however, I have seen more than one of the "get a sense of humor/lighten up/anti-PC" crowd get upset when someone makes fun of them/Bush/NASCAR/whatever.

Keep in mind that I have friends and family in Iraq, but one night I got tired of a Kool Aid-drinking acquaintance who was in the Navy harping on and on about how "black people need to lighten up and take a joke" when he's being a racist, so I told him my brilliant idea for a new T-shirt that says "fuck the troops" on the front. he seriously wanted to fight me about it, so I told him he needed "to lighten up and take a joke" and left.

To this day I don't think he gets it.
