I don't know if many of you know, but we have an amazing candidate running in the state of Texas right now, and we're trying to help him raise $15K by the end of the day today to help spread the word about his candidacy. I've seen people on here saying washed-up ex-entertainers are this party's hope to bring independents around to a progressive point of view, and get this state out of the clutches of corrupt toadies to industry. Well pardon my language, but that's a load of bull... David Van Os actually brings to the table what some people have been fooled into expecting has-beens to deliver.

some of the highest rates in the country, and some of the worst coverage.

And Texas also has the highest rate of people with NO health insurance.

It's an embarassment and a shame that our legislators serve the interests of the insurance companies instead of the people of Texas.
