8. I build inexpensive computers...

For single moms, in the area, who need them for college. I get them the cheapest prices on hardware and waive any labor fees. I also give them free support afterward.

It's very rewarding work.

For those with slightly dirty minds: No, I do not muddy the waters like that. They need assistance, not new social options.

On some of them, I have installed mandriva Linux, to keep the price down. I have found women to be very adaptable and capable at getting up to speed with desktop Linux, very quickly. Much more so than men, interestingly.

I have two kids, a girl in 6th grade and a boy who is a junior in High School. I'm a long-time lurker who hasn't posted much, but I read DU all the time (even while at work!). The kids say I'm addicted.....
