17. My God I grew up in the 30's 40's and married in the 50's

It was an age when you were told your were stupid if those were the only words you could think of. It just was not done with people we knew in a small town in Maine. I was a kid that wore a hat and wore gloves. We were told we were not to even think those things. Course I did grew up in a house hold that was told the most evil man in the USA was FDR and the state was in the GOP's pocket. I was a Ike republican and stayed with the party until even I could not take it any more.
