Ashcroft cashing in on homeland security
Nearly five years ago when Al Qaeda operatives flew planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, it was Attorney General John Ashcroft who marshaled U. S. domestic forces in the war against terrorism.
Since he has left office, he has cashed in on the industry that his actions helped create.

Ashcroft is now the major lobbyist representing companies that want to sell their homeland security goods and services to the government. This is yet another example of the problem with politics as usual in our government. Politicians are elected or appointed to office, then once they leave, they take that information and sell it to the highest bidder.

Apparently, John Ashcroft who made prayer in office a normal part of his everyday routine, both in Missouri and Washington, has seen those prayers answered.

6. Really???
I am surprised. I met them and spent some personal time with them when he was the governor and this surprised me a lot. I heard that he was ill, but I had no idea that his marriage was in trouble. Do you mind elaborating?

3. Just another Corpowhore, cashing in on his federal connections
I just hope the poor man can somehow put behind him the shame and humiliation of never receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom!!
