Edited on Mon Aug-14-06 04:02 PM by NNN0LHI
Like someone playing the part of a maniac in a B-movie or something. That is disturbing as hell. He was in the process of pinning the blame on Hezbollah at the time and maybe thats what tickled him? I don't know? But it is goddamn scary if you ask me. I can't believe the media never mentions this goulish habit of Bush.

6. Because Israel and Lebanon are killing each other..
The Bush regime and the Evangelical Right (read Graham) want to Christianize
the Mid-East. The more they shed their own blood and kill each other,
the less Resistance they will have to their Christian missionaries
when they start the colonization of Christianity in the ME!

Graham has been setting and waiting to go into Iraq..

10. Also, the Lebanese are Catholic
and there is a subtext to that no one is even thinking about.

I am also bringing up the recent stands of the Vatican. Ratzinger made a selfish blunder. He probably had close ties to the previous anti-war stances of the Vatican, but he is NOT the man to do the international job. Whatever he was thinking in taking the name of the equally ineffectual WWI Pope he certainly is reliving history in a way no one, including himself, can truly want. John XXIII had a tremendous voice. Now we have a squeak that the media can more easily ignore. Also, the American Church does not have to downplay the criticism, more powerful now than during the Iraq invasion. A new face, with the charisma and force to carry out a peace mission was absolutely required.

Instead we have a sad character happy to be a stabilizing force only when it comes time to pick up the peaces and hurt "secularization" or some other bugaboo. Those thinking that he is actual league with the neocons on war I believe are wrong, but certainly that is helping diminish the voice against this terrible slaughter. The consequences of his putting indispensable ego over the job that needs to be done.

18. Ratzinger is evil and no more than a figurehead of the Catholic Church..
Edited on Mon Aug-14-06 05:17 PM by Tellurian
If you google Meggido, there is alot of information on the Jews watching for the coming of the Anti-Christ.
Pope John was a very good man, a holy man, indeed. He wasn't strong enough to take a stand to dismember the
Church as it stands today. (The assassination attempt shortened his vitality tremendously)

From what I've been able to ascertain from the research done by the Jew's writings, the AC is living in Rome and is about 35 yrs old at this time. I don't believe, Jesus ever intended the Catholic Church to be a physical building. My understanding is he meant for us to find HIM in each of us and find out what we were born to accomplish here while we are on earth.

The Catholic Church was corrupted from the day St. Peter was crucified upside down, (which is the mark of Satan). When Christ said (of Peter) "On this rock, I will build my Church", what he meant was, the knowledge and teachings he imparted in Peter, as his scholar, was to propagate the faith person by person and let it flourish as a way of life.

I asked myself one day...how in the world, after Christ died and left his Apostles, did we arrive at the church hierarchy and Rules that inhabit the Church to this day...The Catholic Church is bogus..bogus all the way and has been since the death of St. Peter.

how long has this guy been posting? But in any event, that is part of the point. The present pope has poor standing to hinder the escalation of war. I thought that was simple enough. Sorry to provoke someone's inner demons.

and I've been researching this stuff for years. At this point in time, mackerels are holier than most..hahaha!
No inner demons, though- maybe my post was a bit abrupt but I wasn't in the mood to play kissy poo and romance what I believe to be true. In my line of work, I've been talking to and helping people all day, and may have been too quick and/or blunt about getting to the point of what role Ratzinger plays in the scheme of things. Sorry, if I affected your sensibilities..it had to be said, but I'm sorry I wasn't as tactful as I could have been at another time...humble apologies.. But, I stand by what I said.

32. The Last Benedict
was one of the last to hold reflexively to what in fact was the tragic replacement of Roman government, in gross decay, with the talented and dedicated Church organization. When the state within the state inherited a lot by default and by the usual corrupting upper politics(Constantine) someone was fused into the Church that Jesus always vehemently and with good reason inveighed against. What benedict was left with was being moved into a spiritual arm of the Euro power establishment. Of course issues like these get fused with sanctified tradition and mindsets even when the temporal power vanishes. It's a long mess of wheat and weeds, the wars of religion doing little to resolve anything on any side except spread the junk around. Like malaria, any crisis brings dormant illness to a new head.

The proper response is indeed anger and sorrow. I couldn't even begin trying to untangle or wanting to. I am still a Catholic and still a Democrat. Alas, poor humanity. Such a terrible long road ahead.

44. Benedict's mindset is imprinted with Hitler's nazi youth org's
mantra where as a boy, he was a member. I've seen pictures of him as proud as punch in his uniform, giving the seig heil to Der Fuhrer, looking thrilled at the prospect of qualifying as a chosen Aryan of the Reich. I don't believe he is anything but evil and is the chosen purveyor of things to come.

I am a Catholic as well, not so sure about being a Demo...but an Indy for sure. Picking and choosing the best man for the job from both partys as my Congressional representative. I'm not interested in lockstep mindsets more in concurrence of universal conclusions. If that makes any sense to you. I've studied 'Gnosticism' for a very long time, (which is the antithesis of Agnostic) and also is the meaning of the search for knowledge.

If your interested, you can begin with :

The Secret Teachings of Jesus: Four Gnostic Gospels

(the book is written in riddles with helpful explanations at the back of the book)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0394744330/ref=pd_sim_b_5/102-6763738-1410541?ie=UTF8

And read Elaine Pagels book on Gnosticism.

She provides informative insight on the beginnings of Religion.

sorry for rambling...do as you please..<g>

that camera captured a glimpse of the dark THING that he traded
his soul for as it fed upon their misery and despair.

12. You got it... the sadistic madman thing
Do you remember back when he was running the first time and in virtually all the media much of the talk centered around Bush's intelligence and the question, "Is he smart enough to be effective globally (or at all)" How soon everyone forgets; there was time that this man was just flat NOT LEGIT. Now the media acts like he was always legit and like he even has the smarts for the job. Remember how he also used to say, "I am a uniter (while in the back of his mind he was thinkin, "I will divide like a madman, heaaauu!)"

The SOB is crazy! He has to be stopped!!!

Not that I have certain relatives in mind when I laugh, mind you (HeeHee).

(But my favorite one is the one in which they take LuAnn down to register to vote ... "... so that she can vote for Bush." Then she registers as a Communist, and the "boys" tell her, "Commie, go home," near the front yard. She says, "O.K.," and then walk into her house (Hank's house).)

Did you see him joking about the WMDs a few
years ago?
I actually called the WH and asked if he
had been examined by a psychiatrist, as there
was nothing funny about dead soldiers who were
sent there BECAUSE of the WMD claims.
I mentioned that the parents and loved ones of
those soldiers probably failed to see the humor in his
little comedy routine featuring his search for WMDs...
A fucking SOCIOPATH- that is what he is.
