Rove must be disappointed: Bush at 36% in CBS News poll
The same as it was last month and this poll taken after the hoopla of last week! I'm sure that Rove was the high ranking administration official who was quoted off the record as saying that "this will play big" The people have caught on to this guy--they know what a screw up he is. 36% approval.

3. That picture proves how out of control George Bush is. Look at the
expression on his face. Is this the face of a man in control? Is this the face of a man in charge of the most powerful country in the free world?

Bush is totally out of control. We need a good President for a change.

2. What an enormous bump!
Can't stop that!

Maybe they should start a "Bush-mentum" campaign. It went well for Joe.

4. 36%? Didn't those people get the TERRAH memo?
They want to destroy 'merica, people! Democrats = AQ! Big play!

Rove must be absolutely crapping himself that the latest scarefest didn't work. If the terrah card is played, they've got nothing to fall back on. Except their own asses as they voters show them the door.

5. And once this story completely disappears from the news cycle...
They'll drop even further. Just as there's that 20 percent that will support Bush even if he's caught spreading anthrax around Capitol Hill, there now seems to be a solid 60 percent that won't support him, no matter how they try to frighten us.

6. Law of diminishing returns finally kicks in
Looks like the ph34r card isn't working anymore, maxed out as it were.

Oh no! Does this mean the corrupt Bush administration will actually have to start governing instead of just relying on scare tactics to bully their agenda through?

13. A small percentage of Americans
are of the opinion that everything IS going as planned. There are some people who welcome an authoritarian regime, where they can feel safe and protected just because a man "chosen by God" is there to protect them. These are the "don't confuse me with facts, my mind is already made up" variety of citizens; you know.....MORANS!!!!!!

12. NEWS FLASH: Nov 3, 2006 - GOD PULLS THE LEVER
Dateline Washington- God himself, reached down out of glorious white-suburbian heaven, and pulled voting levers all over the country yesterday, ensuring Republican victories in all hotly contested races.

"Look, my appointed, annointed, and yet-to-be-disappointed one, George W. Bush was sagging in the polls. This makes no sense. George is executing my will; to the letter. 36%! Pshaw! I could not let this stand, so I guaranteed that the NeoCons will have many more years to fufill all of the Revelation Prophecies."

As a result of God's divine intervention, Republicans miraculously gained seats in the House of Representatives and in the Senate. While some leftwing, Bloggo-Nazis, Al Queda operatives sling blasphemous libel about Diebold THIS and Diebold THAT, it is clear that God is sending us a message: Ignore the Polls, shop at Wal Mart, and keep killing poor, brown, people

14. Terra card not working it's old magic these days, eh boys?
Gee, maybe people finally realize that they've spent billions of tax dollars and the best they get from this administration is "throw out your deodorant and lipstick before boarding"...that's it.

15. I swear! People don't care because we're not asked...
to sacrifice anything. We weren't asked to sacrifice for this "war." We were told to keep shopping and traveling. And, I hear people say that "well, we haven't been attacked again since 911," so that's why Lil' Dumbya keeps getting high marks on the "Terrah" question. As long as Americans remain insulated from the violence and apathetic, they won't care. I tell you what, though? If we had the draft. Lil' Dumbya would be impeached by now...
