Cease Fire??
What kind of cease fire is this?.. (or cessation of hostilities) The Israelis continue to block all air and sea vessels and now I hear the Lebanese who are wanting to return to their homes can't travel in cars on the road. The earlier restrictions still apply! What's up with this crap??

..all this while approx 30k troops sit on Lebanon land daring someone to take a pot shot at them, so they can start bombing again.

2. Honestly it won't do much I'm afraid.
It still allows for Israeli "defensive opperations," and it will take time for the international force to get in place, leaving the Israeli army still in place until the UN peacekeepers take over. Hezbullah has vowed to continue attacks until Israeli soldiers are out of Lebanon. And there is always the probability of rogue Hezbullah supporters ignoring the ceasefire or their orders...

3. This has been a total disaster for both sides in this conflict. The IDF
made claims they obviously couldn't keep and have IMO made more enemies for the future by bombing Lebanon to pieces. The only thing they have really managed to do is put their own leader at risk of losing his job. Hezbollah I hope will be taken to task by the Lebanese people for their role in causing so much suffering and destruction to their fellow citizens. The UN mean while has managed to design a cease fire made to be broken. The United States had a great hand it too.

4. Agreed
The operation has been a bungle-fest from the start and I believe that is true of both sides, but particularly the Israeli's with "the highly trained professional military".
