TSA Long lines = insecurity
Edited on Sun Aug-13-06 10:11 PM by Freedom_Aflaim
TSA has got to be the most brain dead organization to have been invented in awhile.

While they are furiously making folks throw away liquids they are forgetting:

1) Long lines of hundreds of people, all bunched up make inviting targets. Perhaps as inviting hundreds of people bunched up in an airliner.

2) Having hundreds of people pour liquids TOGETHER into a barrel at the xray machine is not such a good idea. Aren't we talking about MIXING LIQUIDS TOGETHER TO MAKE BOMBS anyway? Oh cute. TSA provided the terrorist with a 50 gallon mixing bowl, conveniently placed in the most crowded part of the airport.

3) you can't stop liquids from getting on board. CAN NOT STOP THEM. Liquids are not detected by metal detectors and containers can be worn on body, woven into clothes, or even insert into body cavitys.

If you want total cabin security this is what you must do:

1) Ban ALL carryons. Ban ALL checked luggage.

2) Turn the cabin into a rubber room with straps on the walls to strap people down. (becareful though, straps could be used a choking weapons). Otherwise the cabin offers MANY weapons, from hot water to survival knives in the floation rafts (bet you didnt know that was there)

3) Strip search each passenger

4) Exam the body cavitys of each passenger.

5) Do it quickly so that no one is ever in a line for more than 2 or 3 minutes, otherwise a crowd gathers and THAT is an inviting target.

Anything short of that, and TSA is just playing leapfrog with terrorist.

** In the meantime, all we are today is making naive people feel better about flying. **

edit to add: I don't support any of these measures, but I don't believe in BS security either.

1. TSA was created by the BFEE; they should be accused of being
brain dead. But they're not, you know. They are evil to the core, but not brain dead.

'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell - 'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it: 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!'

not hoping, but waiting for the day they start. Things will be chaotic then.
