He also served in Operation Allied Force in Kosovo and on the aircraft carrier USS Constellation in support of the enforcement of the no-fly zone in Iraq.

Seaman's latest campaign finance reports list a $10,000 donation from Houston homebuilder, the ultra-conservative Bob Perry, who is known lately for financing a variety of conservative causes including pro-tort reform measures and an anti-gay marriage initiative.

3. The smear was all a lie

I spoke with Juan Garcia's campaign manager today - Marc Duchin. Marc told me that he was never contacted about the Seaman smear and doesn't know of anyone in the Garcia campaign who spoke to the sleazy reporter - Jaime Powell. You may remember Jaime Powell as the ONE reporter the Armstrongs wanted to talk to for the Cheney shooting near Corpus Christi.

Anyway, Marc told me that Juan's current assignment teaching requires flying the P-30, but prior to that service, Juan DID FLY fighter jets like the Tom Cat - the Top Gun plane.
