"Adapt to win"
Today on MTP:

MR. MEHLMAN: Look, the fact is that our mission in the war in Iraq is critical. We agree on that; we agree it’s wrong to cut and run. But look, we’re not coming in and saying “Stay the course.” The choice in this election is not between “Stay the course” and “Cut and run,” it’s between “Win by adapting” and “Cut and run.”

The only thing "adapting to win" is Mehlman's bullshit. When I hear stuff like this I immediately think of the Daily Show responding with a montage of Bush "stay the course" clips, Jon rubbing his eyes and saying "Whaaa?"

3. I think the transcript is inaccurate
Maybe I'm wrong but

It wasn't "adapt to win"
it was "inept to win"
or maybe 'adapt to wine",

I don't know I can hear that well
when I'm listening to them.
