The holes in our house are finally closed following Katrina

Yesterday, for the first time since Katrina roared ashore, we replaced the last window blown out by the storm and the last wall crushed by falling trees. It will be difficult to sleep without the sound of tarps fluttering in the wind, but we'll manage, I suspect.

In another four to six weeks, the contruction will be complete and we can, at least as it pertains to our home, put Katrina behind us.

2. congratulations-it must have been hard as Ktrna seems so long ago

now, especially to those of us who live in unaffected areas like SLC...It has given me some sense of reprieve that this hurricane season hasn't matched last year's so more construction could be completed. Thank the maker for that, I guess....good thoughts and luck to you...
