MSNBC/GE Scrolling " Apocalypse on August 22/ Iran will unleash Nuke"
Edited on Sun Aug-13-06 08:50 AM by KoKo01
(if they have one)...according to Brit guy whose on there while Aex Whitt hypes the date. Scrolling under screen is "Apocalypse" and Brit says that Ahmanidinejad is a radical fundamentalist and has picked that day because it's when the prophet rose up into heaven.

It was pretty disgusting and I concluded that MSNBC under Dan Abrams has lost any credibility and turned to some kind of Tabloid TV that's worse than Fox if anyone can imagine anything being worse than Faux. :eyes:

7. It never matters
The people inclined to believe such predictions have a long track record of accepting whatever bullshit excuse is proffered and swallowing the whole thing all over again for a later date.

A small percentage gets a clue and balks, but not nearly enough.

5. It's the next Mushroom Cloud Scam!
More weapons of mass deception being used on the American people! Starting a War with Iraq worked so well for Karl in 2002, why not do it again, but this time target Iran instead.

The GOP admitted two months ago, that they thought threatening and talking tough about Iran, would help them win in November. They don't care what it costs to win as long as someone else besides them, pays the price.

Dead Iraqis...Don't Care...Dead American Soldiers...Don't care...must win so democrats can't investigate or impeach...Let Gawd sort them out!

The NAZIS aren't coming, they've been here for 60 years.

6. It's completely against common sense for Iran to become an overt aggressor
Edited on Sun Aug-13-06 09:12 AM by Roland99
like that. They have nothing to gain by launching a nuke in a first-strike move and everything to lose.

Iran stands to gain more power by wielding political influence over the fractured Iraq and then on to Syria.

17. Of course! But sensationalism has nothing to do with logic
And it's obvious the MSM has no shame. They make "serious" specials about some biblical armageddon and the rapture yet when's the last time you heard even one of them mention things like the fact that hunger has risen 43% in this country during Bush's tenure? Better to talk about Tom Cruise's baby or who Jennifer Aniston is dating.

Meanwhile, as a mountaineer I have inside info that our nefarious Bat Boy from WV will be emerging from his cave on August 21st to take on Ahmanidinejad in the "mother of all battles". So don't worry about August 22nd -- Bat Boy will save us in the nick of time! Stay tuned!

8. It's a ratings wager
The media are losing viewers by the boatloads because Americans are on to the game.

In desperation, they are now selling us another "war" to keep us watching.

The implications are frightening: namely, that these pretty faces you see on the TV actually WANT death and destruction for their own wallets and ratings and sense of importance and relevance.

I'm not afraid of the terrorists; I'm afraid of media who can't wait for the terrorists to "do something."

9. Would it be disrespectul to suggest....
that the possibility of this happening is as possible as our government being somehow involved in 9-11? If Iran doesn't have a nuke and our government is putting this out there to their media friends...:tinfoilhat:

15. Once upon a time...
real news won't even go near this warped shit...now it's even mentioned in newspapers...

Good to see the media has it's priorities straight...don't take the time to explain anything or even refute it...it's 'faith', so it can't be questioned.

The idea that God, not the US is going to launch a nuke against Iran is delusional, racist and dangerous.
