So Bush's anti-terrorism strategy is effective?
Or is it just the case that the whole world loves the United States so much, that nobody would want to attack us?

If every arrest of terrorist suspects is fake, it's gotta be one of these things. Personally, I think these hypotheses stretch credibility a lot more than believing that a foreign government arrested individuals plotting an attack.

If this plot was manufactured so the GOP could beat the terra durms, then why is it only the second such type of arrest of the calendar year? (This counts the Toronto arrests from a month or so ago, which didn't even come close to being exploited as much as the current case.) Back in 2004, there were terror alerts every few weeks with no specific justification.

2. Either way it's a no-win
If it's phony it proves how out of control this administration is.

If it's real it proves how little the administration has done to control anything but the perceptions of the American people, and how their handling of terrorism is doing nothing but putting us at more risk.

Either way, we're in deep doo-doo.

3. Either/or questions
are simplistic.

It can be true that there is anti-Americanism and also true that is it exacerbated and manipulated for RW political gain.

4. I am sure the terrorist are here and waiting. Must have let a
million in with out a visa over the Texes border alone. Who would know? Course since they are looking in to my underpants if I fly you can be sure I am not a terrorists but that does not mean you can count on grandmothers who do not fly.
