I found this statement and I asked if anyone knew WHAT presidential commission has admitted that Iraq had no ties to al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden. My post was passed up so I wanted to put it up again to see if anyone has the answer. Unfortunately when I clicked on the link to the article it seems to be gone now. :banghead:

THESE PEOPLE have no shame. Their contempt for democracy is so great they will stop at nothing to undermine it. Their adherence to fundamentalist beliefs that blinds them to reality is frightening. They must be stopped.

2. The 9/11 Commission, pg 334. Also, if you read Chap 8,

"The System Was Blinking Red", it basically says that all the information was screaming out a warning, and Bushco did nothing.

Further, it talks about bin Laden's financing, and how he stopped using wire transfers and began using couriers - which makes Bush's justification for tracking bank wires and the Repuke "outcry" against the NYT for revealing it absurd.

3. But how does that prove that the government has admitted their

EDIT: to add that I feel a strong need to present this to my mother who is a Bush supporter and will not let go of the idea that it was right to go to war with Iraq. For some reason I am becoming more and more disgusted with her and I think I believe her to be lacking in morals for agreeing to blow up a country for a reason that is not there. I am sure she has that Authoritarian personality and may not be able to help herself in her support for a man who I consider a sociopath but it is really getting to the point that I do not want to have a relationship with her because of it. She was never a stupid woman but with Bush she seems to have drank the Koo-laid and gone into some cult mentality that is heartbreaking for me to see. It would be the same as if she married a hit man.

Maybe I need counseling. I am supposed to visit with her soon and I dread it. And at the same time I dread her dying while we are in this state that I cannot seem to pass through and then regretting MY actions forever after that. She is 74.
