Some fundies are trying to rile up the non-politicals.

My aunt spams me regularly; she's the one who sends on the "OMGWTF!!!111!! THIS VIRUS WILL KILL YOU" mails that propagate, and the occasional "Jesus loves you and you'll only have good luck if you spam these animated gifs to everyone you know" things.

She forwarded an email with several pictures of protests for Lebanon. There were pictures of signs that said things like "Behead the infidels" and "Death to America" and "911 was a warning". All the signs were in the same handwriting with the same poster marker, so this was either a small group of the signs in the protest or some fundie wrote those signs out and gave them to people who didn't read English for propaganda purposes. At first I thought they'd been photoshopped, but that's not likely. The email was essentially just to rile people up and confuse non political people that "Moslem (sic) is not a peaceful religion!"

Tired of this, I replied to all on the list with a link to the Westboro Baptist Church suggesting that if they're worried about extreme fundamentalism that they ought to alert everyone in their address lists about our own plank in the eye.
