Global warming is causing the ocean to rise and Israel needs higher ground
Hey that is one theory I haven't heard yet so I thought I would run it by you all just to get a rise out of ya.

And leave me alone too.

:P

1. What is wrong with DU
that we are getting so many of these kind of threads? There is nothing substantive in what you wrote, and admitting you wrote it merely to piss people off is just childish.

2. It was to make people laugh

If we can't laugh at ourselves what are we?

5. Nothing is funny to the defenders of logic
All humour is to denegrate the lower classes, comrade! ;-)

Then, by recommending a website, or considering a rising tide, you are an antisemite,
but the real reason is because the crabgrass you killed in your lawn is really a
close relative to G.O.D. And the karmic ripple of your lawnmower has manifested
as kali to clip a chip off your nose, to destroy a little in return, very kindly
like the black lady has always been.

10. NNN0LHI, for the record I don't think anyone else thought you were...
...doing more than poking fun at the theories around here lately. Based on the responses from that poster lately I think the response you got was more an outlet of built-up stress inappropriately-vented than anything else.

3. in 2012 when the aztec calendar turns over
The aztec calendar has been counting up to 100,000 miles all
this time and is about to turn over to zero again!!!

Some people believe the universe will shatter when the clock
reaches its boundary condition. Others believe that a reality
shift will take place and god will take the saved whilst
the world sinks in to ten thousand years of darkness and
ignorance prior to the ending of mankind's experiment.

9. its the end of times!!! save the fish!
Run for the hummer!; heaven has gas-pumps.

You presume much that one can joke and perhaps has suffered,
but as well, knows when people cause their own misery, and then,
like with jerry springer, its hardly like they didn't have it cummin'

This whole israel thing is liek 1 big jerry springer show with a whole
load of trailor trash people of all different religions and nationalities
pretending its dignified when they're nothing more than human scum and
violent lowlife that hasn't evolved beyond a single celled life form.

Then when stupid people defend it by being unfunny, we can all laugh
at the pond scum, that it's stupid, and that it deserves to be marked
out as a stupid buch of rotters that are wasting all our times and
goodwill in life by evil wars....

And ll of them, every single bloody one of them starting these wars,

will answer before their lord, sooner than they know.

16. I imagine that you don't belong to the category you quote
"load of trailor trash people of all different religions and nationalities
pretending its dignified when they're nothing more than human scum and
violent lowlife that hasn't evolved beyond a single celled life form."

I'd like you to be more specific about what religions and nationalities you have in mind. Maybe we could discuss that from an evolutionary standpoint.

17. Lets give that a shot
I suggest that any religious practitioner who believes that religion is externalized
has learned badly. This might be a darwinian thing across cultures, and has no specific
bearing on any particular religion you could name, or every single one of them.

Then those who are connived to believe that life's mystery involves murder, theft and killing,
are a failed religion, as history shows us, one that might get a paltry interest from war cults
like bushido, or shaolin kung fu... reduced to a mere discipline... and not the ethics of war
and justice as a basis.

Then the stupid people are out killing each other, fighing for land again, fighting for
ancient hatreds and racisms, trailor trash to the end... and i too, a trailor trash yank,
fighting for my buddhist view that externalizing religion is primate-early in the evolutionary cycle... indeed.
Yes arrogant, but justice must allow us to recognize the cycles of life maturity and how
the cycles of violence, victemhood and stupidity arise the lower nature of survival and naught else.

19. When you present it that way...
I mostly agree with you, specially on the religious part. What I don't buy is the "low-life" part, specially when it has to do with humans. I don't even agree with the comparisons with animals even bugs or "lower". They can be nuisances for us in some cases but their aim is just to survive and we cannot humanize them. In a natural ecosystem everybody has its place.

There is no hierarchy in nature. The "top" depends on the base. The base produces the top. A dinosaur world is not "worse"than ours, it's only different. Survival has always been the key, and humans are no exception. But the only difference is that our brain allows us to find solutions to avoid the carnage.

And Buddhists respect all animals. You never know, they can be a reincarnation.

20. in a manner of speaking
I breed dogs, and without help, dogs give way to there feral nature, they become pack hunters and kill any
wandering animal they can hunt. Dogs clearly have a higher nature that is not related to their survival-program,
and this higher nature is what has so many of us charmed and in love with our canine friends... but that
survivla program is "lower" nature. The feral animal will bite when threatened... we suffer as a species
from a similar enculturation.

So, for purposes of invective, i'm using "animal nature" more as a way of describing a narrative that
dominates so many human lives, and when it runs as the foreground program, the animal sounds viscous and
mad liek Ann coulter... we must be able to call worshipping that feral survivalism a lower instinct, or
we're screwed as a species unable to recognize greatness from foolery.

Peace, words divide, music unites... best wishes to all your loved ones in every nation.

namaste,

tell that to the Lebanese
the south of Lebanon looks like Hiroshima after the bomb. And places that have nothing to do with the Hezbollah have been bombed FUBAR. Humanitarian help is denied or allowed as a trickle. Funerals, refugee convoys are attacked from air (last time it happened in Europe was by Stukas).

The West responded to Milosevic and sent him at the Hague for similar war crimes. If ANY other country had been behaving the way Israel has been behaving the last month, specially a Muslim country, the US had intervened militarily and the outrage being general. This time it's general... the other way.

I am sorry, but you are not credible outside the bubble. This spin may work on a gullible US opinion that still thinks up to 50% that Saddam had WMDs, but it doesn't work on the rest of the world. It's a lost cause. Besides it has been lost the last 20 years. The latest Israeli adventure is only a blatant confirmation. Israel created the monster exactly the way the US did in Iraq. Fragmentation bombs don't destroy terrorists, they make them.

15. People, man, not websites
People believe the world is going to end when the aztec calendar comes around,
much like the year 2000 gig, its the same eschatological play with a different story,
and in each case, people are absolved of all responsibility over their life and
politics for fated future death/(and/or)savior that makes it all right, that they
themselves ar powerless and inneffectual, consigned whilst alive to irrelevance and death,
imprisoned in poverty to merely incubate and worship the dreams of the rich and
powerful.

I've heard many stories like this, about this or that ending of the world, and how
in every single case, the person involved no longer has political choice and whatever
the television set wants it gets.

It is indeed the scary party, not that its websites, but people who really do believe
their excuses.

22. Maybe that's how "driving Israel into the sea"
is supposed to work. I always thought it would take an act of plate tectonics, but I guess a rising sea level would do it too.

Damn those Muslims. Their grand plot to destroy Israel involved getting the US addicted to their oil so that we would release massive amount of CO2 into the atmosphere, causing global warming leading to rising sea levels, and finally bringing about their stated aim of destroying Israel. It's diabolical, but you have to admire their resourcefulness.
