What is this "Know your enemy" crap on CNN
they've been hyping this documentary for over two months now. now they are trying to exploit the london arrests to hype this show even more.

4. it's called "In the footsteps of Bin Laden" or something like that
in the ad, the announcer guy goes "You need to watch this documentary so that you can know your enemy" and he emphasizes the "know your enemy" part.

7. It's right up there with CNN's look at "Why people follow bin Laden"
5 minutes of prattle from Christian Amanpour about a Moroccan woman who moved with her husband from Belgium to Afghanistan after seeing bin Laden on tv. The woman said, "He has a beautiful face. We both fell in love with his voice." Her husband became the cameraman who killed Kurdish leader Mossaud.

That was it? "bin Laden has a beautiful face/voice"?? Surely there would be more after the commercial break, but no. bin Laden's appeal to disaffected Muslims has been reduced to the superficial charms that attract teenagers to celebrities.

My husband has called Christian Amanpour a hack. I don't think she used to be one, but she is now.
