Look what I found by accident! A DU anti-DU site..."Enemies among us"

I have been so frustrated about the lack of expression and 'freedom of speech' as it pertains to the Israeli-Lebanon situation, that I googled DU moderators and semite to see if I might find a source of bias. Low and behold, I found this anti DU site, titled Pro-Semite Undercover, where they are blasting DU because of our 'slanted' views! Here's an excerpt. You can read much more at the link. This is one of the reasons so many posts are locked or deleted. They have an entire cadre working on it! Like DU is Anti-Semite! :sarcasm:

there are some very mentally disturbed people on DU. they seem to be self-destructing . it does sometimes seem like the bizarro world.
It amuses me that they are over here seeking us out.

Skinner responded to my letter from last week.
He was out of the office last week and apologized for the day.

I had expressed how frustrated and upset I was at the tone and the lack of honest intellectual discourse. The purpose of my letter last week (before the new GD rules) was to express my opinion that a change in rules was necessary, including possibly sending threads back to the I\P forum.

He responded nicely -- that the administrators know something has to be done because DU can't take much more of the vile hatred. (I'm paraphrasing.]

And this is more proof of the demonstrable effort to shut down discussion here at DU. This group operates together, alerting, getting threads locked and moved - JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT THE TRUTH DISCUSSED.

Threads that are not inflammatory, or personal...just pointing out the truth about what Israel is doing - are anathema to this group. I have found myself leaving for long stretches, because the concerted effort is often quite effective, and does stop any discussion right in its tracks.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH - it's a PROGRESSIVE IDEAL.
