Terrorism..
Just stepping out of the box here. If we are fighting a war on terrorism, we have certainly already lost it! The objective of terrorism is to 'terify', frighten, and keep people feeding off of fear.

Heads up! Look around you. Are we living in a world of fear, terror, suspicious of each other, paranoia. We sure are! Looks like we are following the script very well indeed!!!

Losing our freedoms right and left, each day worse, we give in to the terrorists and say 'okay, I'm afraid' and I will sacrifice every freedom I've ever known to be less afraid.

Not working though.. fear breeds fear and the cycle continues to escalate. Face it folks, we LOST this one! We've been giving Osama Bin Forgotten everything he could have ever wanted.

3. Exactly right...
This is the message to tell everyone everywhere. I'm so pissed at this whole airline security crap -- I'm still spitting tacks two days later.

Where's the outrage? Why are people so damn complacent & willing to give up even more freedom? Banning things like water bottles, lipstick, gels, Dippity Doo, & Old Spice isn't going to stop terrorism. (OK, maybe Dippity Doo & Old Spice should be banned...) It's only when we have adults in power who can put forth foreign policy that's effective & concentrates on diplomacy rather than invading countries (in the name of "democracy"...)& bombing the hell out of anyone who disagrees with us. And then when "democracy" is in place, is it any surprise that we don't like the results of their elections? :grr:

(Told you I was pissed...)
