Mediawhore candidate Randall Terry sends out "Bill Clinton" phone calls
Edited on Sat Aug-12-06 10:23 AM by Bluebear
43,000 Republican homes got a call from “Bill Clinton,” endorsing Jim King.
Contact: Randall Terry for Florida State Senate Campaign Office, 904-819-9450

ST. AUGUSTINE, Aug. 11 /Christian Newswire/ -- Taking a lesson from the comedy playbook of various successful races over the last ten years, the Randall Terry campaign for Florida Senate began a series of automated calls going into the homes of every Republican in Florida State Senate District 8.

Listen to Thursday’s spoof endorsement telephone call and get a preview of the next comedy call online at http://www.randallterry.com/comedy/.

The voice -- which sounds like former President Bill Clinton – went to 43,000 homes by means of telephone. Here is the transcript of the spoof endorsement call:

This is a celebrity impersonation. This is Bill Clinton tellin’ you - Vote for Jim King.

He'll give illegal immigrants college tuition; let homosexuals adopt kids; he’s pro-choice; takes money from gamblin’ and strip clubs – my kinda’ Republican.

“If Hillary could do that - she could be President. And I could raise money in strip clubs! (Laugh)

Don’t vote for Randall Terry; He's for traditional marriage, right to life, fair tax, wants to protect our borders; and no amnesty for all those potential Democrat voters!

Hillary and I beg you: don’t vote for Randall Terry

(Paid for and approved by Randall Terry, Republican, State Senate)”

A recorded rendition of the comedy phone call can be heard at www.RandallTerry.com. The second comedy call -- slated to go out at the beginning of the week -- is also online.

“We are already getting rave reviews -- people are laughing out loud!” comments Randall Terry, “We decided that the voters deserved to laugh a little bit, even while considering the serious issues of this campaign. We can show the stark differences between Senator King and me, and have fun doing it.”

“I'm a Ronald Reagan conservative; Senator King is a Ted Kennedy Republican; who better to tell the story than Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy?”

To interview Mr. Terry call: 904-819-9450.

4. "christian newswire"? you know somebody is gonna get hurt
in Jesus' name. then they turn around and tell you "just kidding ha ha". all those funny christian family-values greatest hits like the holocaust, the african slave trade, the deliberate and premeditated extermination of native americans (small pox infested blankets for Jesus, anyone?). After 2000 years of that, what's a little political-advertisement deceit amongst true believers?

Religion lets people commit the most awful crimes and get away with it because they are "saved".

5. Randall Terry has a gay son.
'He's Bringing Great Sadness
to Our Home'
Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry talks about his gay son.
Interview by Paul O'Donnell
Longtime anti-abortion activist Randall Terry in recent years has campaigned against gay marriage and homosexuality. So it was of some embarrassment to him when his son Jamiel published an article in the May issue of Out magazine revealing that he is gay. Terry responded by writing an op-ed, sharply criticizing his son and saying, "He is no longer welcome in my home."

On Thursday, both Jamiel and Randall Terry gave extraordinary interviews to Beliefnet editor Paul O’Donnell. In his interview, Jamiel explains that he wrote the article because "I wanted my father to see I'm not going to hell," but says that he still loves his father. Below, Randall says that Jamiel is "bringing great sadness to our home and embarrassment to our family."

Yes, this is what "Family Values" means-- disowning your child because he's gay.

6. It's not like Terry could get elected on his own....
so he has to use Clinton, someone who actually accomplished something with his life, and on his own too.

I'll say it again: Conservatives would still be living in caves were it not for the imagination, courage, creativity, and willingness to change of Liberals.
