"an error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it"
This falls into the "if only" category. If only we had a governement that believed this now, if only we could remind people that this WAS to be our future before we got so terribly sidetracked by special interest and worse, lack of interest.

Well worth the 5 minutes it takes to view.

If Only ....

2. It reminds me and makes me want that even more
I had a discussion with my daughter last night (she is 14 and about to begin high school this fall) about paying attention and learning history, not just from books, but as she is living it. I told her that as long as she remembers the truth of how things are happening now, she will be able to keep things in perspective later in life when history twists things to become anything but what they really were. I am attempting to take my own advice and remind myself what life was like when we had hope and ambition to help rather than govern the world.

I hope she listens to my advice and never forgets the happenings of her days. After all, they are our future. Now, we just need to teach them our past and we just might have some hope for their kids too.
