Bush Military History Project #31
This is being written as a journal in democraticunderground.com and crossposted on Dailykos and Myleftwing.
I urge readers of this series to obtain a copy of Unfit Commander by Glenn Smith, the only source of Bush's military papers in chronological order. Where internet references are not easily available I will give page numbers of this book for reference.
I also urge readers to become familiar with the report by Lt Col Gerald Lechliter, published in the NY Times, available at: http://www.nytimes.com /....
Or Google: NY Times Gerald Lechliter. I will be referring to both of these sources in this study.
Many, many Thanks and an Airborne salute to Marty Heldt and Paul Lukasiak and his AWOL Project: http://www.glcq.com /
I can be reached at concernedexlrrp@hotmail.com
The author of this series is not a consultant, paid or otherwise, to anybody but America

Journal entry #31

So I went on down to Senator Wyden's office and gave his staff all this material I'm showing here with a request that it be forwarded to the proper authorities--the Inspector Generals of the DoD, the USAF, the Natl Guard Bureau and the TXANG. The CBS Papers represent THEIR documents so THEY are responsible for them. And even though they are responsible for them, they allowed the issue to be settled by bloggers and CBS.

The Federal government is responsible for these documents, there's letterhead of a federal unit on 3 of them, they represent official TXANG business and they are signed by the commander of the federal unit in performance of his duties.

Anyone still not believing that these are federal documents, please debate this sentence: Anything signed by a commander of a federal; unit in performance of his duties is a federal document for which the federal government is responsible.

I included in the packet I sent to the IGs (each got his own packet) a demand for an investigation (printed in BMHP #30) a letter to Senator Wyden, two reports, Lechliter's (Appendix A)http://www.nytimes.com/packages/pdf/opinion/lechliter.pdf and an updated version of this one: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/9/28/124119/186#2 (appendix B) which I will post tomorrow and 18 pages of annotated documents. Here's the letter I included to Senator Wyden, explaining what I'm trying to do. If you think this is worth doing, write some of your own to your own senators and congresspeople. America needs to know the truth!!
The CBS Papers are available at: http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2004-09-09bushdocs.pdf

Dear Senator Wyden

I would like to draw your attention to an important issue which I am trying to get the federal government to resolve.

I believe the attached papers represent federal documents for which the federal government has responsibilities. Simply put, I want the federal government to investigate these papers and prosecute any wrongdoing that concerns them. I think the federal government owes the American people a full and final accounting for these papers, an official accounting that only the federal government can provide.

I believe that these papers have been misrepresented in the press, media and internet as "private papers." I think their federal status is easily discerned: 3 of them have letterhead of a federal unit, they purport to be official USAF ANG business and two of them are signed full signature by the commander of that federal unit in performance of his duties. If words and signatures on a page mean anything at all,. then the words and signatures on these documents make them official military (i.e. federal) documents. I believe that anything signed by the commander of a federal unit in performance of his duties is a federal document and the federal government should be required to maintain the integrity of all of its documents. I am trying to make them do so and I ask for your help in this.

I am not asking you to take any position right now based on some "wacko" analysis, what I am asking you to do is forward my concerns and demand for investigation to the proper authorities: the Inspectors General of the USAF, the TXANG, the Department of Defense and the National Guard Bureau. It is their responsibility to prove or disprove these papers, not CBS or "bloggers" as I hope you learn from studying my case. I believe that the federal government has evaded this responsibility.

I have studied these papers for years since their emergence and the circumstances from which they came. I think America has never gotten a fair and honest accounting of these papers by the federal government, especially the USAF ANG, whose unit's letterhead is at the top, whose official business they purport to be and whose commander signed two of them in performance of his duties.
I would like your support for the demand that the federal government account for these documents once and for all. The American People have the right and need to know if documents about their commander in chief are forged and they need to be told by the proper authorities, who alone have the authority, the capability and the duty to prove or disprove allegedly forged federal documents. I think that all the American People have gotten so far is a big "Dog and Pony Show" about these documents.

Help me do this! I have tried to contact these authorities before through the mail and internet but have never gotten any reply. Please forward this to them and demand action--for the good of our country and the rule of law and order. America deserves--and needs--to know the truth.

I would welcome any comment or question you or your staff may have. I will keep you updated as to the results of this request. Thank you

(Signed, my real name and address)

The attack continues. I'm up against the worst enemies in the world, entirely by myself with little or no support at all. What a great time to attack! This is a job for a lrrp! Who else would get himself into such a position?

3. Here's my favorite document from the batch...
George W Bush and James R Bath are being grounded for failing to take their flight physical.

Bath would later become the legal "business agent" of the bin Laden clan in the USA.

More documents...

Thank you for standing up and doing something about these traitors, exlrrp.

If "LRRP" means what I think it does, thanks also for your service in uniform.

Small world, for the connected...
