Cspan "Christian" caller; " Wipe out the Muslim Vermin"

I just heard a guy call in to comment on the UN resolution for a cease fire in the middle east, he said he was calling as an American and as a Christian.

He then said in a creepy quiet voice that he's against it, and he thinks we should allow Israel to go in there and "wipe out the Muslim vermin", comparing them to rats, that he used to shoot as a kid, the big ones, and the little ones.

He's a Christian? He sounds like a fucking nazi to me.

I've seen some anti-Muslim crap on DU, but I have not seen any regular defenders of Israel, say anything like this. I disagree with them about Israel's actions, but your insinuation that defending Israel is tantamount to believing that Muslims are vermin, is, in the vernacular, bullshit.

but I've seen enough of this specific posters comments to feel comfortable making the comments I did. And you may be able to name a few DUers who would agree that Muslims are "vermin", but except for a notorious comment that was made not too long ago in I/P, by a poster who, thankfully, is no longer with us, I can't. Anymore, than I think there are any DUers who believe Jews are vermin.

20. This reminds me of a conversation I had at work.

One of my co-workers, whom I usually avoid discussing anything political with, said he thought the Israeli's were being too politically correct, too nice. He thought they should just carpet bomb all of 'em! I said that his idea was sick. He said no it wasn't that this was a war and any civilians were just collateral dammage. Another co-worker agreed with him. I looked at both of them and said we will never, ever discuss anything like this again. I feel so sorry for you. As info....both of these guys are chicken hawks. Neither one has ever served a second in the military.
