Take time to smell the roses! Meteor showers tonight and
tomorrow. I love to watch 'em the are so beautiful. Here on the East Coast the best time to see them between 11:00pm and 4:00am.

6. West coast might be able to see some yet tonight
If you're on the West coast, you might be able to see some Earthgrazers tonight yet before 10pm local time.

Tomorrow night between 8:30 and 10pm local time anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere is another chance for Earthgrazers.

The peak is Tomorrow before dawn but with the moon, you might only see a brighter fireball if you're lucky. Or not. More info here:

5. No sky watching for us tonight, sadly -- over 5000 acres of brush on fire
in the foothills a few miles west of us. We're inundated with smoke throughout the valleys -- the Verdi fire is consuming our night sky, and burning our lungs and eyes. x(

near Buena Vista. It was the dark of the moon, and one fireball was so bright and explosive that it lit up all our faces. Awesome! Saw a xillion that night; I couldn't force myself to go to bed!

11. wow, I'm so glad I came in here and saw this.
the rednecks around here have to have fifty foot high light poles which makes it hard to see the stars but I guess it's work a shot. Thanks again.

12. The moon is too bright here
It is annual event for us. We decided to take the dogs for a long and late walk so we could watch. We took them to a little spot outside of town but we didn't see a single one. The moon is just too bright. We're going to try again tomorrow night.

14. What lo-glo and clouds aren't obscuring, the moon surely is.
It's near full and bright tonight. And we're partly cloudy, and Denver's putting out some amazing lo-glo the last few weeks.

Maybe I can convince DH to take a drive with me tomorrow night.
