2. All of the Above
but that isn't an option.
Actually, it is a combination of what he has done to our country and the world - and that he's a liar.

If he were a good leader, I wouldn't care if he walked like he had a corncob up his ass or was goofy.

32. the way he walks doesn't bother me
but other than that, yeah, most of the above. I'll second what you said. Between what he's done to our country, our future, and the world and it's future, it's hard to find anything remotely redeeming.

8. I feel sorry for him.
He's incurious.
He's not loved - those who profess to love him only do so because of who he is. Hell, when Babs Bush goes, there's not a soul on this planet who will give a flying flip about him.
He's incapable of love.
He's lived his whole life in a shadow of his family.
He's not his own person.
He's not known the depths of personal triumph or tribulation.
He's never experienced loss; therefore, he's never experience true achievement.

In short, he's a shell of a human.

20. I agree with this post absolutely...
I clicked "because he is an asshole" cause I am drunk (hey its Friday night ;))-but this post sums up what I actually feel.
I try not to hate anyone-hate and violence are so counter productive and useless...
I feel bad for him..I feel bad for most people on the hard right...

Ultimately we are all humans and end up being the way we are cause of a combination of factors: where we are born, what lives we lead...etc.

I just feel bad for most people who resort to violence, hate, the quest for power/money etc. What an awful way to live your life...However much money or power you have, what a sucky life...

In Constitutional terms, he is simply a Traitor and punishment for said crime should be ordered and carried out immediately.

12. Because he disdains Good and holds higher human endeavors
in contempt.

He represents power without dignity.

He embarrasses Americans' standing in the world when most Americans have no quarrel whatsoever with other cultures and countries.

And he butchers the language.

18. Because he has made me cynical
He has turned my country and the world on its head. I always had hope. He took my hope and crushed it with his hate and lies. I loathe him. I loathe everything about him. He took my faith in humanity and flushed it down the toilet. I could go on but it's too depressing. I only want everyone who is able to stand up to the little creep and say enough is enough.

23. because he is an unqualified entitlement prince..
Edited on Sat Aug-12-06 12:07 AM by jbm
in a country that was based upon the very liberal idea that all people would have access to opportunity, and the heirarchy would be determined by merit. This country was not supposed to allow a moneyed aristocracy to develop and, as a result of their existence, lessen the quality of life for all people who aren't them.

Bush represents the failure of those ideals. All of his power he owes to someone elses efforts.

Sure, he is indeed a lying, idiot asshole who walks like he has a corncob up his ass (or something - someone really needs to talk to Jeff Gannon about that) who's done great harm to our country and our world. But he's also a fucking lunatic.

26. Don't know if I hate him personally
I hold him in a lot of contempt. I hate his policies.

I hold GWB in such contempt for the following reasons:

He has blown more opportunities in life than a lot of people I know will ever have in their lifetimes. Wealth and connections can open doors not available to the average person.

For having degrees from both Yale and Harvard, GWB sounds like a complete moron. I have two grandnephews going into the third grade who are more articulate than B*sh. Standing next to the leaders of other countries, B*sh looks like he has no clue as to how to conduct himself. What the bloody hell are his advisors telling him? Or is he just blowing them off completely? Those are the $64,000 questions that I'd love to have answers for.

With the advantage of having his father as a CIA director, congressman, 8 yrs as VP and 4 as President, it never occurred to W to travel outside of Texas and the U.S. to see how the rest of the world operated. I remember telling my husband that he and I combined had more experience traveling overseas than W did before becoming President. This guy makes his father look like a self made man.

He ran three businesses into the ground. Unfortunately, there was always family or friends who would offer him another opportunity. The only university B*sh didn't attend was the University of Hard Knocks. Why the American people didn't see that as a flapping red flag is beyond me. There are more red flags flapping about B*sh than there are in all of China.

The air of entitlement is the main thing that makes me feel more contempt for B*sh. That isn't just for W, it also spread to the entire Bush family. The impression I get is that nobody ever said no to any of them.

Wow!!! Sorry if I went on such a rant.

27. Because he was never elected president - he's an imposter
It is because he was never elected president, it is because he was installed into office by his daddy's friends, and worse, he's nothing more than the worst kind of worthless, pathetic, weasly little slackard. It is because of him and his feeling of entitlement that the world is so screwed up now.

31. I hate him for his freedoms.
Actually, I hate him because he's smug. I hate people who are smug. You never see a genuinely good person who's done wonderful things be smug. It's always the gross icky egomaniacs who everyone despises who are smug. The more people hate him, the smugger he gets, too.

But hate would not be the appropriate word for how I feel about the impact he's had on our country and the world. I condemn him for his shameless pillaging of our country's resources and for harming and in some cases destroying the lives of people around the world. I condemn him for leading us into an economic and societal and environmental and spiritual sickness that will take generations to recover from.

I do not "hate" him. I do not hate people. I do recognize that he is an arrogant, vain, cruel, and angry human being, who is responsible for the suffering and death of thousands of human beings. The "national debt" that he has created is insignificant to the "karmic debt" that he has accumulated. I think back to his January 2005 ranting, "I've got some capital I'm going to spend!" The guy has no clue where he is going to spend it.
