So I'm watching the preseason football game
between the Patriots and the Falcons, and a commercial comes on. Katie Couric. Telling me that she wants to educate and even sometimes enlighten me with her newscast. I get the feeling I'll be suffering from advanced alzheimers before I believe I'll ever get enlightened by Katie Couric. Walter, I still love ya.

Someone would have to have suffered extensive brain damage for that bimbo to be capable of educating them about anything.

2. "Enlightened" by Katie Couric?
Not so much. I suspect Katie could suck IQ capacity right out of your head.

There must have been a quart of vaseline on the lens. Are they trying to maintain the illusion of perky-ness?
