THE FOOLDOM YEARS 2000 - 2008
This is my nomination for the label that best describes this administration.

If written up for history:

Title: THE FOOLDOM YEARS 2000 = 2008
Sub-title: The Presidency of Richard B. Cheney and George Walker Bush.

As they continue to strut and give speeches and interviews - with messages targeted at a shrinking segment of our citizens.

They are resolute in their sameness. The lie only gets tweaked. It's the same old, same old. Predictable. Transparent. Audaciously boring.

They have embarrassed us, shocked us, and made us squirm.

They have made me dread turning on the news in the morning.

Who else in our long-short history have brought us torment, torture, death, debt, theft, lies, deceptions, secrecy, decrees, spying, signing statements, reversals of environment issues, laws against humanity, and the loss of our rights and votes - all squeezed into 6 years with two to go?

They have acted like fools. They have fooled us and the world.

1. 2000 was our last good year. 2001 was a good year until 9/11...

and of course Bush being the occupant the WH.

Since 9/11, the world has been just horrible.

How about "The Fooldom Period": 01/20/2001-01/20/2009

2. I like your years. I'll go one up December 12, 2000 - January 20, 2009

I can't say that 2000 was good until 9/11 because I now know they were planning it all. They were already to go in the 90's and put it into effect the day after the swearing in ... I think spying and locking up history started immediately. 9-11 only needed their polish.

Perhaps you meant 2000 was good from an economic viewpoint?
