Conservative radio goons are predictably using this opportunity to slam the Democrats on their opposition to wire-tapping, torture and the war in Iraq. They are all trying to convince us that another 9/11 would have just happened this morning if Liberals had stopped the president's agenda of torture and spying. Alot of people are going to buy this spin, but no one that thinks about this critically for 5 seconds should buy what they are selling. Sean Hanitty just now even said this plot was first discovered through a tip from a concerned citizen. Foiling this plot had nothing to do with torturing anyone, warrantless wire-tapping and it sure as hell had nothing to do with our involvement in Iraq. Unfortunately, the red alert through election day WILL have an impact come November.
