Inconvenience, frustrate and anger people- then tell them you are
doing it out of concern for 'their safety'- while quietly encouraging them to direct their anger and rage towards 'the terrorists'- and you just might pump some energy into a failed foreign policy- and this failed administration.

That is what bushco is banking on- and the media is hyping it to the max-

Will it work? Are we that stupid? Are we that predictable???

Worst case scenario would have been 3500 lives lost IF all 10 planes were full, IF all 10 planes were able to carry off their missions successfully, and IF all passengers and crew died as a result of the 'plot'. I don't make light of the death of even ONE person, and it isn't the numbers that matter, but I have to ask:

How many people die yearly as a result of not having access to medical care?

How many people are dying from illness and diseases that stem-cell research could produce cures and treatment for?

How many people die because of alcohol related accidents and illnesses as a result of its consumption each year?

How many innocent Iraqi citizens have died as a result of our 'war on terra?'-

How many people died in the aftermath and as a result of the terrible emergency response to hurricanes Katrina and Rita?

How many people die of suicide each year?

How many people die of AIDS-?

How much money do we spend on war and killing and manipulating other countries to do our 'will' compared to fighting for life-giving research and programs that actually have a REAL hope of reducing the number of deaths from the items listed above??

We spend without batting an eye on offensive, and destructive programs designed to thwart 'potential' threats- We spend like misers and cold hearted bastards when it comes to programs which have proven they can reduce the very REAL threats that face our society-

But this way we have 'an enemy' someone to hate and blame- Alleviating the suffering and deaths that happen while we are busy fighting 'them over there' is asking too much - cause 'they' do not value human life- and (sarcasm in the extreme) we do-

I'm losing faith in this society- we are better than this people!- When is enough enough???

I'm ranting to the choir here I know- please forgive me.
