Repeated port scans from a Dept. of Defense office?
I'm not a hacker myself so I don't know if I should be worried or not. I backtraced some of the port scans that my firewall detected. It seems I have repeated port scans from:

OrgName: DoD Network Information Center
OrgID: DNIC
Address: 3990 E. Broad Street
City: Columbus
StateProv: OH
PostalCode: 43218

Do any of you net savvy people have a clue why these people would be doing port scans of my computer? Is it possible someione is using the DOD computers for a proxy? I'm not completely savvy on this stuff. I appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Sorry if it's the wrong forumbut I didn't fing a computing forum.

1. it's probably a bot or a crawler
that would scan all IP addresses. That's just speculation, though.
