Hastert says Dems should be humble

What did US Intelligence have to do with it?

WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Ron Bonjean, communications director for Speaker of the House J. Dennis Hastert (R-IL) today issued the following statement:

"Every day is not an election day, but it seems for the Democrats it is. Today our British allies and U.S. intelligence services were able to identify, intercept, and impede a terrorist plot because we have given them the tools to fight this intelligence-driven Global War on Terror. Instead of humble gratitude, the Democratic Leadership suggested that increasing democracy in the Middle East is distracting us from homeland defense.

7. Neutered
It would be pretty good odds that Hastert's spokesperson has been having weekly breakfast with Grover, too.

6. A couple of points, Denny you fat turd...
1) It was British police acting on a tip from a Pakistani national who broke open the plot. Neither your fat ass nor your precious Lord Chimpface had dick to do with it.

2) We're pouring BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars into making the skies safer, where's the beef?

3) Where is the increased democracy in the Middle East? Do you refer to Iraq? Excuse me while I roll on the floor laughing hysterically.

4) You fuckwads would use your own mothers' funerals to score political points if you could.

5) FUCK OFF YOU FAT PIECE OF CRAP!!!

8. these tools, these tools, these tools. "I want a hammer"

.......
"This misses the point: the war on terror is a global war. The terrorists arrested today were aiming for our cities and innocent civilians, and we only know that because we had visibility into their planning and plotting. With the PATRIOT Act, FISA courts, and other intelligence programs, we can learn what the terrorists know and where they go, and then we have a chance to disrupt them. But it is those same tools that saved the day today that the Democratic Leadership have repeatedly tried to vote down, thereby weakening America's intelligence efforts and lowering our guard against terrorism.

"America cannot stop terrorists with blinders on. America cannot stop terrorists by simply hoping they won't take transatlantic flights to bring terror, once again, to our cities. We stop terrorists by watching them, following them, listening in on their plans, and then arresting them before they can strike.

"Senate Democrats are also blocking confirmation of the new Department of Justice National Security division chief, a position which was funded by the PATRIOT Act and has received strong bipartisan support from the leaders of the 9-11 Commission. In addition, Democrats have a consistent voting record of underfunding our intelligence community in the 1990s. Instead of partisan political attacks, the Democrats should stop thinking about the November elections and join Republicans who stand vigilant in fighting the Global War on Terror."

Clinton Denounces Cheney for Terrorism Comments

NEW YORK, NY August 11, 2006 —Senator Hillary Clinton has denounced Vice President Dick Cheney for saying terrorists would be emboldened by the results of Connecticut's Democratic Primary.

...
CLINTON: I don't take anything he says seriously anymore. I think that he has been a very counterproductive even destructive force in our country and I am very disheartened by the failure of leadership from the president and vice president.
...
A spokeswoman for the vice president said his comments on the importance of a strong national security strategy "speak for themselves."

11. Every day IS election day
to the pukes. A day does not go by when one of them does warn of the impending doom should the Dems get elected.

Humble gratitude, my ass.

BTW, have we increased Democracy in the Middle East? I don't think so.

16. Old fat Denny and his corrupt party are getting pretty thin
skinned here aren't they? They've always been a bunch of petty prima donna pissants, but lately they're so touchy they never quit their bitching and whining.

We must be really getting to 'em.
