2. You need another option: "Who the hell knows?"
That's the option I'd vote for.

5. I have to say somewhere in between.
This was probably a true planned attack, but I think it was enhanced by B & B.

6. I guess I think it was a real event, probably
hyped and shouted about in a political ploy to gain support for the rightwingers and their terrawars. But I also think that I could just be too cynical to assess the actual threat appropriately. They've done this before and their credibility is in the toliet. After all their attempts to manipulate, I don't know what to believe. But then again, maybe that's what they want. A population so bewildered and untrusting that they disinvolve themselves, stop analyzing rationally and start reacting emotionally.

Guess I don't know what to think. That's the real shame of all this- that we can't trust them to be aboveboard.

7. I don't put and stock in anything the neocons tell me.
Are there nasty people in the world that want to kill us? Sure, we are creating more every day.
Am I going to cower under my bed and give up any of the rights that make this nation what it is?
No way.
I wish the citizens in this nation would grow up and develop a spine.

8. I think it was real, but probably more along the lines of the "Miami 7."
A group that talked big, but didn't have any real ties to terrorist groups or ability to get their hands on the material and expertise necessary. But like the "Miami 7," the administration is going to trump it up to make it look like the War on Terrah is keeping us safer. (If it were, wouldn't that mean these guys would be in Iraq fighting us there, instead of fighting us here?)

9. I lean towards this being another
law enforcement sting.
They knew about it for months? What is going on in Briton to cause all this foiled mayhem?

10. BBC said that they arrested them early because they were afraid that
Bu$h or his Poodle in #10 Downing Street, would blow the investigation.. insinuating that they would us it for political gain and screw it all up and they would get away.. Chaney made a speech recently that prompted the early arrests, and they missed some of the terrorists..

11. There may have been something to it
but by time they get around to releasing the real facts behind the whole story it will no longer be on the front page. I just have a feeling they went after every Pakistani shopkeeper in Great Britian and contrived the plot. It smells of another Miami 7 operation to me.

13. Somewhere In Between
I think these guys may have been making silly noises about doing something. I don't believe a lot of the information currently released and i think the threat they posed is being exaggerated.
