1. Prensa has a different way of reporting compared to Fox... Rebels!
Another Prensa headline:

Rebels Hold off Baghdad Offensive

Baghdad, Aug 10 (Prensa Latina) Rebels caused 13 casualties to the Iraqi security forces in a clash in the southwestern area of this capital, where the second stage of the Forward Together counterinsurgency offensive is currently failing.

Seven dead gendarmes, with Colonel Dhia Abd Ismail, commander of the 7th Police Command Brigade, and six other wounded agents were the result of the clash in Al-Maalef neighborhood.

The action against the subordinates of the US occupying forces happened during the second day of the offensive s second stage.

Military authorities said on Wednesday that besides the 55,000 soldiers that have been participating in the maneuver since June 14, there are 12,000 more, and 3,700 of them are US military agents.

Arrests, break-ins, and a curfew are gripping Baghdad in this second phase of the offensive.

Regional radio stations recalled that the US command admitted that the insurgency carried out 70 daily attacks only in Baghdad.
