The republicans talk as if Democrats aren't americans
I'm i wrong in saying this, i listen all day about this terror plot and the republicans are trying to politicize the issue by saying the people who voted for Lamont are NON-AMERICAN and don't understand the threat of terrorism. what a stretch they will do anything to cling on to power.

1. Well, only republicans can weaken a nation, bankrupt it,
Make it more unsafe, and blame someone else. I think it's the Culture of Corruption in the GOP. That and the Incompetence. Yea, incompetence.

2. maybe, that's why there is so much disdain between the 2 parties.
Repugs say the democratic party is equivalent to the terrorists themselves. It puts American against American. This is the beginning of the rift. History will see the Bush years as the demise of America. I feel California is almost off the map already.

5. Voting for the candidate of your choice is so un-American!
:eyes:

I wish they would come right out and say exactly what they mean: "It is un-American to support any person, policy, idea or explanation that has not come directly from the GOP."

Democrats really need to start fighting back against this kind of shit! :grr:

6. they rule, and I mean rule this nation
every aspect of the government, and the media. They control everything. They can say whatever they want, and people will still believe them because they still don't want to admit that the country has been taken over by.....well, you know.

9. Only those who drink the neocon, Christian Fascist, republican
...kool aid are considered to be Americans. All others are the enemy. Bush did say, "...you are either with America or with the terrorists". No room for decent or criticism with that statement by Bush!

11. Republicans are at war with everyone
liberals, Dems who are not liberal, scientists, anyone not a christians, Catholics, Mormons, blacks with an income under $250,000, same for Hispanics and any other non-white, women who will not be baby factories, any white who believes in justice, judges who make even one ruling they disagree with, most every country in the world except Britain and Germany sometimes, people who don't totally agree with their version if the bible...............
How do these guys ever get elected to anything. No doubt you add all those folks listed above there are a lot more people that they are at war with than support them. We need to get together.
How do these people ever get elected to anything?

12. So, about 60% of Americans are unAmerican? I think that is how many
are opposed to the Iraq war right now.

This will backfire. Democrats just have to hammer it in over and over again:

Iraq had absolutely no involvement in 9/11 or al Qaeda. Iraq was NOT a threat to the US. The Iraq war has ZERO, NOTHING, NADA to do with fighting terrorism.
