The Media have seemed like obedient little chipmonks today
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 06:19 PM by Armstead
I think the terror plot was probably real. I also acknowledge that it is news, and should be treated as such.

Having said that, the media has looked and sounded like obedient little chipmunks in the way they have accceded to the wishes of the administration that they use it to Amp Up the Anxiety once again. All day long, they have seemed determined to put us back into the "post 9-11" mindset. Blathering over and over again "Be Afraid. Be very afraid."

And to feed the Right Wing Hard On yhat we are engaged in World Wat 3, so so must trust the administration and to keep the GOP in power to protect us.

I guess between this and the upcoming 9-11 anniversary, and Israel and Iran I guess we'll be subjected to All Terra, Terra, Terra from the Drama Queens in the media once again.

4. It's Connecticut's fault.
If they had elected Lieberman, we wouldn't in nearly as much danger as we are today.

(for those who wonder, :sarcasm:)

8. I have yet to see or hear a shred of real evidence
That is what is so curious about this whole media onslaught.

"If I told you that, I'd have to kill you." How do people accept this bs as news?
