I have NO fear of terrorists...
but, then again, I'm not a cowardly, quaking conservative.
I find it amusing that despite all of their macho bluster, the republicans are apparently nothing more than frightened children- "Pweeeease mr president, pwotect us fwom the bad men!"

Bluster, indeed.

1. Neither do I
The fact that they do fear terrorists, prove they are spineless.

4. Only people who ever had the illusion of safety
and being loved or tolerated by everyone on earth, are any more afraid now than they were on 9.10.01.

The rest of us say, Ho-hum. People want us dead. Tell us something we didn't know.

6. Anyone who is willing to strap dymamite to his body
and blow himself up for some twisted religious belief is the guy I fear. Other than that, I fear very few people.

8. I wouldn't say I have NO fear...
but I worry less about dying from terrorism than I do from dying in a auto accident... or dying of a heart attack... or dying in a household accident...
All of which is MORE likely than dying from a terrorist act.

10. I had two friends die on 9/11.
I do fear them. I fear zealots of every kind. I don't subscribe to the fear factor that the BFEE has tried to make all of us swallow, but the next time my husband gets on a plane, I will worry.

I despise what this shitty little man and his administration have done to me and to others.

14. I worry about Christian zealots FAR more than Islamic zealots...

11. True. Only cowardly, quaking conservatives are afraid...
of Osama and co.

The worse thing that could be done is to show fear towards your enemies.

12. me neither
the chances of a terrorist killing me are much lower than the chances I die tonight on the way home from work.

15. Exactly
Our whole country is risk retarded. We'll let ourselves be raped by security at an airport because some nut somewhere mighta-kinda-maybe had a plan that coulda-sorta-possibly worked...but didn't.

Chance of dying to terrorist act overwhelms them but these same people didn't think twice about getting into their car and driving down the freeway.

check out some odds http://www.nsc.org/lrs/statinfo/odds.htm

16. i'm afraid of them just fine but there's a limit
it should be up to me whether or not i'll willing to board a flight w. other ladies carrying bottled water, a bottle of wine, and a $24 lipstick

i'm willing to confront my fear and take that dare and get on the plane

instead of allowing me to take the risk, i'm denied that right and put at risk of an infinitely more likely danger (for my stage of health) of becoming ill if i'm not properly hydrated

not all flights are smooth, many are turbulent and FAs can't be serving w. the water even on those flights where adequate bottles of water are supplied -- and i have been on MANY where there was not sufficient liquid aboard to give everyone a can or bottle

i was on a flight to japan where we were not allowed an entire can of soda -- 13 freakin hours -- a person could DIE w.out their own supplies at the wrong stage of life and health

i could be run over by an SUV tomorrow but i still drive my car, fears are made to be conquered
