How much fun is this? We've got the GOP singing the praises of...
...a man they demonized just a few years ago because he was Al Gore's VP pick. In place of a meaningful ideology where "the end justifies the means," it's simply, "the means justify the means." They are chasing their tails and tripping all over themselves. They are pathetic.

2. And We Are Doing The Reverse
years ago we cheered for Lieberman, now we demonize him.

And don't think the GOP hasn't noticed

6. We haven't demonized Lieberman. He did it all to himself.
The people of Connecticut told him, "It's the war, stupid," but he refuses to operate with consent of the governed.

5. IF this didn't have them sweating bullets
They would have just stood back and giggled at the mess. The fact they got involved is this: If Americans will do this to a DEMOCRAT, what the hell are they going to do to a REPUBLICAN?

So now they try to triangulate back to the center and leave Bush and Cheney out there holding their dicks. But it's far, far too late. They married this war, and there will be no divorce before November.

8. That's what I think, too, but they have no intention of seeing...
...their goal of a permanent Republican majority squashed so easily. They will do what all cornered animals do and that's fight dirtier and meaner than ever before. And I suspect that we'll see more tail chasing in the process, too.
