Are you getting sick of life on this planet ?
All the fighting and stupidity that seems necessary to be part of the human race?

If it were possible for you could go anywhere else, where would you go?

3. A remote island...
As long as I have my music & books (& photos of Johnny Depp & George Clooney), I'm good. (Of course, I'd be better if Johnny & George joined me on the island...)

16. Just back from Panama--Isla Bastimentos-- where we are building
a retirement home. Flying was a complete hassle--and that's without all this nonsense of no carry-ons! We only do carry-on no matter where we go because the airlines can't be trusted to get baggage there. I've had two flights in the last month that waited for airline crew--pilots and flight attendants.
I watched them close the gate on one flight that I ran through O'Hare terminals to catch when we'd been promised (on the flight waiting for a pilot) that they'd hold the flights if we were on the last one out for the day. Nope. Flying is nothing but a royal pain in the a$$. I'm beginning to think we'll just retire full time to Bastimentos when our youngest graduates high school in 2008.
