5. The Brits have arrested 21 people

supposedly involved in a plot to blow up planes (up to 10) flying from Britain to the US. They are saying that some type of liquid explosive was to be used.

I'm glad we're fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them over here.:eyes:

Oh, and did I mention they are saying it's probably al Qaeda.

The discussion at the BBC about this being discussed in July. If this is a long term 'planned' operation, I wondered what the media said about the prelude to todays alert.
I know about the 'planned attack', it's big news here in Norw. too.

An article says Bush and Blair was continuosly briefed about the operation before the alert and also the Blair had authorized the clampdown personally.
