Hillary Clinton on display at NY's Museum of Sex
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A "Presidential Bust" of U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton was unveiled on Wednesday at New York's Museum of Sex, where sculptor Daniel Edwards hopes it will spark discussion about sex, politics and celebrity.

Edwards, the artist who also created a life-size nude of Britney Spears giving birth on a bear-skin rug, said he wanted to capture Clinton's age and femininity in the sculpture.

Clinton's office had no immediate comment.

Edwards said his work features soft "presidential smile" and wrinkles framing her eyes. A floral pattern runs across her breasts, part of Edwards' effort to present Clinton "as a woman -- not a covered up person, but as a woman."

1. She voted FOR Iraq.
There should be blood dripping from that sculpture.

for awhile at least...

Keep in mind that when the issue of authorization to use force in Iraq went to a vote, Congress considered this a forceful diplomatic measure. ...and it worked. After the vote, Saddam agreed to let UN inspectors back into the country -- including staff that Saddam suspected were American spies.

Remember that this was 2003 and no one knew what a psycho the president was at that time.

13. Point?
Yup 23 Nays. Does that negate the accuracy of my statement?

Stop looking at that vote from 20/20 hindsight for a minute and put yourself back in 2003 before we learned all that we know now.

I'm not sticking up for Hill personally, I think she's too corporate to be a good populist senator, but let's be fair about this.

3. said he wanted to capture Clinton's age and femininity in the sculpture.
Guess he missed on both points

Personally, I'd sue to have it removed. It's hideous

4. Is it just me, or is that a horribly ugly statue?
If the sculptor was actually trying to make that look like Hillary,
they failed badly.

7. Maybe he thought the big firm breasts would balance it out?
They look like they're in the 18-25 range to me,
so I guess it averages out.

Dumb INDEED.

9. Art is in the eye of the beholder no doubt, but
in my humble amateur art critic's opinion, that is one weird looking statue.

There's a Nazi Aryan Uber-mench quality to the head, but it's aged about 30 years, especially with the gray mustache. Then the young breasts go over the line into complete weirditude.

I guess my reaction is just "gosh."
