Larry King show: How can you say that Isarel is giving diplomacy a chance
just because they continue to bomb the hell out of Lebanon and haven't yet increased the ground offensive? I just can't stand the way our media allows this shit to be spun on behalf of Israel.

1. He didn't even mention that Randi Rhodes was going to
be on. Did she and Neal get canceled. Did they duke it out in the green room? I hope not.

3. Did you know he introduced Neal Boortz first?
I thought RWingers were gallant with the ladies. Talk about bad manners. You always introduce the lady first. Am I wrong?

4. The Israel-centrism in the MSM is absurd
Notice how there are now US reporters embedded with the Israeli military, the news reports almost always begin in Israel first, Israeli deaths are given far more coverage and precedence over Lebanese deaths (look at today. CNN is talking about "Israel's bloodiest day" in its opening to its shows but ignoring Lebanese deaths in its openers), etc. All this relates to the current conflict but in the past Israel has always been portrayed as being reactive, the Arabs as being aggressive.

Why is this? The media will promote the government line all the time. Israel is not an exception but fits the rules.

5. Outright bias !
Its not about being right.. .its about brainwashing the American people.. its about getting you and I to relinquish analytical control of our own thoughts, to be spoon fed what to think, under the guise of natural American authority and expert opinions.

7. Who honestly cares in the US?
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 01:11 AM by Selatius
If you want to see the news, you may as well flip the channel to the BBC and fuck CNN, but if you're like most working class stiffs, you don't get the BBC unless you actually spend hard-earned money on satellite TV, money that could've gone to paying the bills at a time when wages are falling behind costs.

6. Israel is using diplomacy?
Diplomacy is not used at the head of a rocket or grenade. That makes about as much sense as skunk diplomacy.

8. It's that way, Democrat or Republican
This is one of the third party groups' most legitimate claims: superclose uncritical ties to Israel.
