4. There was a news item in the last week or two on one or more of

the MSM web pages about a stripper who was found to have a human hand preserved in a jar in her apartment along with, as I recall, several skulls. A medical student supposedly gave her the hand (for a lap dance?) I think she also failed to appear in court. Thanks for looking though. Great cartoons and the last one is so sad but true.

8. It's a microcosm-toon. Visualize what it would be like...

... if gw set up a mom-n-pop "Democracy shop" in the middle east (presumably iraq, but anywhere in the M.E. will do), with the attitude he has. It'll be cheap (rummy's war-on-the-cheap, remember?), full of talking point menu items. It'll be in flames (because bahgdad's burning now, while the proprietor (gw presumably) is completely oblivous, thinking everything's ok.

Except there's one thing he doesn't understand: why no one seems to want Democracy-a-la-gw.

It's not the best toon in the world, but it didn't seem all that recondite to me...
