1. I would never work in a liquor store.

One of my high school classmates, one of the few that I actually liked, was killed the summer after graduation working in a grocery by two pieces of filth with a shotgun, and for less than a hundred bucks.

This video shows a pretty fucking brutal attack. Sheesh!

Shit like that makes me want the death penalty.

2. I don't ever want the DP

but completely unnecessary violence, especially violence against the old, the young and the female, makes me want the return of the lobotomy.

Clip that limbic system, disconnect the rage from the rest of the brain, turn them into pussycats. THEN throw them into prison to serve out their sentence for assault and robbery.

Remember, they are going to get out sometime. We might as well stop the problem from reoccurring.

3. When I was in BT at Lackland AFB in San Antonio

One of our instructors husband (also in AF) worked part time in a liquor store. She was watching the news and saw that he'd been killed before she was notified by the base police. Just horrid. She talked in class about how important it was to communicate with your spouse and others. She was very pretty and smart and we never saw her again after that. I've thought of her from time to time and how awful it is to find out something like that on the local news.
